Welcome!

Schola Antiquae Vocis would like to welcome you to our web site.  Please take the time to browse through our site and learn about our Choir and its concert season. Also, we invite you to listen some samples of our music in the "Our Music" section.

Schola Antiquae Vocis is a unique a "cappella" choir specializing in singing Gregorian Chant & Renaissance Polyphony - music rich in tradition dating from the 2nd to the 18th centuries: the music of Palestrina, De Victoria, Viadana, Monteverdi, Hassler and others, along with Gregorian Chant, Classical & Sacred repertoire.

Through study and striving for musical excellence we wish to perpetuate these ancient traditions by sharing their beauty and the meditative qualities known to promote spiritual healing and inner peace.

This music is so transcendent and above all mystical.  It is a prayer, coming from the heart.  If you listen, you can find peace in your soul.

A special thank you goes also to all the choir members past and present who have made Schola Antiquae Vocis, since the founding, a great choir by giving their time, love, commitment and strong dedication to this wonderful music.  Without you, we could not make this beautiful music.

Schola Antiquae Vocis is located in Mount Vernon, Washington (United States of America)
