Schola Antiquae Vocis  is a non-profit organization.  It is a unique local female choir specializing in
singing Gregorian Chant and Renaissance polyphony - music rich in tradition dating from the 2nd to the
18th centuries: the music of Palestrina, De Victoria, Viadana, and others, along with Gregorian Chant,
Classical and Sacred repertoire.

We are a very friendly group of people who enjoy our choir so much that we can assure that you would
feel the same if you decide to join us.  It would give you the opportunity to sing and perform concerts of
incredibly beautiful music.

In our 12 years of existence, we have sung more than 80 concerts in the Puget Sound area, British
Columbia (Vancouver & Victoria), participated as a guest choir in 2006 to the annual Bach Festival at
Mount Angel Abbey in Oregon and participated in two concert tours of Italy in 2003 & 2007.

While it is inevitable that illness or certain unusual circumstances may cause you to miss a rehearsal,
regular attendance is essential.  Missing voices alter the balance of the choir's sound, and every choir
member is counting on you to be there! Our season runs from the middle of September to the end of
June.
